Suspense- one hour shows.
« on: May 31, 2009, 06:58:07 PM »
I just read that Suspense went to a one hour format for a brief time. They did some original scripts but also expanded some scripts they already did in the 1/2 hour format. Have any one hour shows been played on any podcasts here?

Just the Donovan's Brain two-parter.  I'll try to find some of the one hour shows.

The one hour shows were really great. They did a hour version of "Suspicion" and "The Lodger" they are a few of my favorite episodes from that series :glasses10:

Wait a second - you HAVE been airing them, Jim!

I've been following all the 1 hour episodes on Suspense Replay!   SR243 is the first one (a stretched out version of the Carey Grant "Black Curtain" and most episodes after that have followed the same 1 hour format... at least up into the 250's...

Hope this helps!

I love the way the different sponsors sound like layers of strata at an archeological dig.

Yes, they were SR243 "The Black Curtain" to SR259 "Deadline At Dawn."
